Oak Haven Resort is a fishing, camping, snowmobiling, family friendly resort and campground, located on the Cass Lake Chain of Nine Lakes. Enjoy Big Wolf Lake, Andrusia Lake, Cass Lake, Pike Bay, Kitchi Lake and 4 other lakes. Anglers enjoy the opportunity to land Walleye, Pike, Muskie, Largemouth Bass, Crappie, Bluegills, Perch and more. Parents enjoy bringing their kids here for many great reasons.
Bring your boat or rent one of ours. Our fishing boats come with electric start, graph, live well, bilge pump, electric trolling motor, Mercury outboard, dip net and a quality anchor. Rent our nice 25' pontoon boat. We have our own boat ramp, live bait, electricity to the docks and premium gas for boats. During summer, our weekly rates include FREE events like Monday Night's Hot Dogs and Smores, which are cooked over an open fire by the water's edge. On Tuesday Nights, we feature the Turtle Races for kids. On Wednesday's it's the Kids Only Pontoon Fishing Trip, that's followed by a Kids Only Fish Fry and Party at the Lodge!
Two nice heated swimming pools, our own Restaurant, free foosball, basketball, volleyball, badminton, tetherball and horseshoes. Borrow books, games and puzzles at the Lodge. Catch fish off our docks! We have a sand beach that is great for building sand castles and that's where you'll find our canoes and paddle boats, which are free for our registered guests to use. (With prior instructions from us) You can borrow life jackets at no cost. We have a Rainbow Clubhouse Playground and two sand boxes. Great ice cream plus root beer floats in frozen glass mugs that include free refills of Sprecher's tap root beer.
For bird watching, sight seeing or fishing....you can take your boat up the scenic, NON FLOODING, SLOW MOVING crystal clear Headwaters of the Mississippi River, or drive the short distance to Itasca State Park...where you can WALK across the start of the Mississippi River! Come experience this true Northern Wonderland.

Now Accepting Camping Reservations. Three night minimum required on Holiday weekends. Two nights required all other weekends. We have three sites available that have water, sewer and electrical hookups. We have one site with water and electrical and we have three primitive tent sites that each have a fire ring and picnic table. Enjoy camping at our fun and peaceful resort.

CAMPFIRES at Oak Haven: Sometime before 6PM, walk into the lodge and request outdoor firewood. Mike will deliver your firewood on our quiet electric golf cart, and stack it neatly next to your fire ring. Enjoy your late night fire without disrupting other guests please. Thank You! Our eleven cabins are fully stocked with just about everything. We DO NOT provide towels. All cabins have wood or log siding. All cabins have air conditioning, soft water, Dish Network TV and Weber charcoal grills. All cabins have one or more decks and many have fire rings. Enjoy our quality on-demand water heaters. Centrally located shower and laundry facility. Waterside pavilion with picnic tables.

Big Cabin # 11 is our only cabin that is open all year long. Cabin # 11 was built in 2004, has over 2000 square feet of beautiful north woods living space, central air, in-floor heat, five huge bedrooms, a washer and dryer, a dishwasher, log furniture and is rated for up to 19 people. Families love this cabin during the summer since it overlooks the heated outdoor swimming pool. Anglers and snowmobile enthusiasts enjoy Cabin # 11 in the winter too. Cabin # 11 is sometimes available between October 1 and May 7 each year for business professionals who are working in the Bemidji and Cass Lake area. Oak Haven Resort and Campground "Serves Our Registered Guests Only". People must be staying here to use our restaurant, dining room, rest rooms, beach, docks, swimming pools, etc. We do this because those visitors are most likely unaware of our Policies. "Serving our registered guests only" means a Better Quality Vacation for You.
To find our location, be advised that County Roads #8 and #75 "are the same road". Referred to here as "the old highway"....this road runs from Bemidji to Cass Lake with Oak Haven located in the middle. We are 6 miles North of Cass Lake and 9 miles East of Bemidji. Easy to find, on a good paved road, close to shopping.

Things you need to bring? Towels! You need to bring your own bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths...and some fishin' towels too! Our cabins are fully loaded with cookware, dinnerware, silverware, coffee pot and filters, micro wave oven...just about everything. Besides towels, bring foil and cling wrap if you need it. You should bring your own charcoal too. Beds are fully made up with clean sheets, blankets and pillows with pillow cases.
We have our own boat ramp, bait, 91 octane gas for boats, tackle, gift shop, game room and restaurant. At Oak Haven Resort and Campground....We Serve Our Registered Guests Only.

We serve ice cold Budweiser and Bud Light on tap in Frozen Glass Mugs at the Lodge to our Registered Guests Only (from opening day of the Walleye Season until we run out in late September). Try our unforgetable Root Beer Float!....we give you a large frozen mug, a spoon and a straw, several scoops of hand dipped vanilla ice cream....and then we top it off with Sprecher's Tap Root Beer (from Milwaukee, distributed by Budweiser)...until your ice cream is gone! Pull up a chair for this one!!
RENTAL BOATS: All four rental boats have Mercury outboard motors with Electric Start. All four rental boats have an electric trolling motor, bilge pump, fish locator, flat floors and livewell. Our boats are loaded and ready to go. Use our life jackets, seat cushions and more at no charge. Click on "OUR RATES" then scroll down to see RENTAL BOAT INFORMATION. (Pictures and Pricing) Some resorts charge extra for each piece of equipment you choose to use on your rental boat....we don't. Our rental boats are LOADED! Rent our 25' Pontoon!

No Littering Please. Smokers outposts are at every cabin, the pavilion, the fish cleaning house, the lodge deck, the outdoor swimming pool and more. Please help us keep our grounds litter free. Thank You for helping with this. We really, really appreciate it.
No Profanity Please. There's usually lots of kids here. We just ask that you use good common sense when there are other people around. And we really thank you for your efforts with this.
9:00 PM to 9:00 AM is "Quiet Time" please. This doesn't mean you have to go to bed!! Stay up as late as you want. We just want a setting where parents can talk to kids around a campfire late at night, without having to listen to roaring alcohol parties. We're simply asking all guests to respect the fact that some people turn in early to go fishing at dawn, while others stay up late and want to sleep in. Please be respectful of others and you'll have no concerns with this policy. Again....Mike and Deb truly thank you for your efforts.

Our beach and docks are not open for the general public to use. They are specifically for our guests who are staying at Oak Haven. Local groups who would like to use our beach and/or docks must have Permission IN ADVANCE and there is a charge for each craft or person to use our beach or docks. This is Private Property. Our policies are in place so people staying with us can enjoy a more peaceful, interruption free vacation.
