The Campground at Oak Haven Resort

Your stay at Oak Haven Resort's RV and Camping area...gives you and your registered Guests access to two heated swimming pools, Men's and Women's restrooms and showers, laundry, use of free paddle boats and canoes...catch fish off the docks, great ice cream and much more. 

Sites # 1, # 2 and # 6 are now available as Seasonal Sites for 2011.  If these are not sold as Seasonal's, we will begin taking 3 to 7 day reservations for them around March 1st, 2011.  Anyone interested in joining our fun and cleanliness with a seasonal camping site (water, sewer and electric) in 2011 should call now and consider visting us this summer or fall.  We are a No Pets Resort so you will not be disrupted by dogs. We have clear written rules that are given to every guest upon arrival (Cabins, Campers and Tenters), assuring you good behavior from your neighbors. Your kids can enjoy our Turtle Races and Kids Only Pontoon Fishing Trip.  All of you can enjoy two heated swimming pools, which are steady at 81-85 degrees here in 2010.  Free use of games like foosball, basketball, horseshoes, volleyball, badminton, lots of board games, use of paddle boats, canoes and more.  Very convenient laundry, showers and rest rooms. We do not recommend some of our sites for motor homes over 40 feet.  All of our sites are back-in sites.

No Pets.  Please...No Littering.  "9 PM to 9 AM is Quiet Time."  At Oak Haven, we ask our guests not to use profanity. These are our basic policies for this resort. This is our year 'round home and we want our home and your vacation place to be clean and friendly. Parents/Guardians are responsible for children's noise, litter and damage.  We ask all our Guests to be Respectful of each other. Some people like to rise early and go fishing.  We ask them to try to be quiet as they do that. Some people like to stay up late by the campfire. This is a great pleasure that we want you to enjoy. But we ask you to please keep the noise and conversations at a low level. We ask smokers to please properly dispose of all butts and/or packaging, so we can better maintain a more beautiful resort. All Campers and their visitors must register at the lodge upon arrival and must follow the ground rules for this resort and campground. Enjoy Oak Haven Resort!  Again we Thank You.  We hope you appreciate the need for policy.

Campground Map

Your rental includes the use of all facilities including showers, laundry, outdoor & indoor pool, canoes, paddle boats, bait house, fish cleaning facilities, games and game courts, subject to all house rules.  Boat Launch and Docking is extra.

It is the responsibility of  the person renting the site to ensure that all rules are followed by everyone in their site.  All Guests, no matter how long they will be here, are required to Register at the Lodge upon arrival. 

All 2010 Rates are Based on 2 Persons & 1 Unit per Site and are PER DAY Rates.....

• Water, Electric & Sewer (Sites 1-8)   -   $44.00 per day for 2 persons    -    $195 per week  -  Seasonal May 1 thru Oct. 1 (appx.)...150 days for $2000 or $2200 for year.
• Water & Electric (Site 9) - $39.00 per day for 2 persons - call for weekly or monthly rate.
• Primitive Tent Site (Site 10-12) - $35.00 per day for 2 persons
• Air Conditioner (whether used or not) - $3.00 per unit  (Included in Seasonal rate)
• Boat Launch - $10.00  (Free w/Seasonal)
• Docking/Parking - $6.00 per boat per day whether docked or on trailer  (Free w/Seasonal)
• Extra Unit on Site - $8.00 per unit
• Extra Persons - $10.00 per person  (staying the night)  Less for Seasonal's Guests
• Day Guests - $6.00 per person (leave by 10 PM)  Day Guests are not eligible for our "Events."

RV'ers and Campers...Please arrive during daylight hours to avoid disturbing someone else's Vacation. 

No Early arrivals or late check outs allowed without prior approval.
This is due to time required to properly maintain the grounds.

DUE TO BEETLE MIGRATION CONTROL, NO FIREWOOD MAY BE BROUGHT INTO RESORT.
FIREWOOD WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE ON SITE.

MINIMUM STAY

• ADVANCE RESERVATIONS FOR LESS THAN 5 DAYS WILL NOT BE TAKEN UNTIL AFTER MAY 1ST, NO EXCEPTIONS!
• Minimum stay of 3 nights required on any holiday Weekends.
• Some exceptions for last minute reservations may be made.

DEPOSITS

Campground Deposit - 50% of Invoice total required on all reservations.  Deposit is required at the time of reservation.  Cancellations inside 60 days of reservation will be refunded only if site is re-booked, less a $50 administrative charge.

 

ADDITIONAL CHARGES

Any additional charges (such as bait, boat gas, ice cream, etc.) during your stay can be charged to your site.  We ask that you please settle-up before 6 PM the evening prior to your departure.

Customers are responsible for damage and we ask that you leave camp site(s) and boat(s) in a state of cleanliness. Fire Pits are for wood and sticks only.  If we have to dig your "non-wood items" (such as glass, and foil) from your fire pit, a minimum charge of $75 will be applied.

All Campers who bring in glass bottles are asked to take them away when you depart.  Glass bottles can break and often lead to injury.  Help protect children and adults from injury caused by broken glass...by not using glass.  Thank You!  Remember that we serve a great frosty glass mug of Bud or Bud Light at the Lodge.

Oak Haven Resort has Policies.  9 PM to 9 AM is quiet time.  No Pets, No Profanity and No Littering.

NOTICE TO CAMPERS: 

All RV'ers, Campers and Tenters be advised....In the summer months, our eleven cabins rent on a Saturday to Saturday basis. (Cabin renters Check-in at 4 PM Saturday and Check-out at 9 AM the following Saturday) Every Saturday during the summer from 9AM to 4PM we clean cabins, mow the grass, handle all trash and recycling, re-stock bait, clean boats and perform many other chores...preparing for the 4:00 PM arrival of up to eleven Cabins full of guests.  YOU need to know this because service (bait, ice cream, firewood, etc.) is NOT available to you on Saturday's until 5-8 PM.  If you are camping over the weekend, you need to get your bait Friday evening.  We will attempt to open the outdoor pool each Summer Saturday by 10 AM...unless overnight lows prohibit our ability to heat the pool.  RV'ers, Campers and Tenters need to read and be familiar with the information package that we hand out at Check-in.  See OAK HAVEN HOURS in the Information Package.
