Oak Haven Resort and Campground is located eight miles East of Bemidji, Minnesota on County Road # 8 (also Roosevelt Rd SE).  We are also six miles North of the town of Cass Lake. County Road # 75 and County Road # 8 are the same road...referred to around here as "the old highway", which was the main route between Bemidji and Cass Lake until the Highway # 2 bypass was built.

You could say we are "At the Top and Center of our Nation."

Oak Haven Resort rests quietly in a northern Minnesota Wooded Wonderland!  Fishermen can easily boat to nine different lakes from our docks.  Cass Lake, Lake Andrusia, Big Wolf Lake, Kitchie Lake, Buck Lake, Rice Lake, Little Rice Lake, Pike Bay and Ose Lake.  What choices!!  Enjoy our secluded area, where our docked boats (and YOUR precious boat) are more protected from wind and waves. Fish for Musky (huge!), Pike (Big!), Walleye (14-28 inches), Largemouth Bass (14-21 inches), Rock Bass, Crappie (11-14 inches), Bluegill (10 inches) and Perch (7-12 inches).

WHEN COMING FROM THE MINNEAPOLIS AREA....take I-94 to St. Cloud. (We are 150 miles from this point) Take Highway 15 North exit near St. Cloud.  Then take I-10 North.  Pick up Highway 371 near Baxter/Brainerd.  Follow 371 North until you come to a "T" at Highway 2.  Turn left on Highway 2 (West)...GO JUST ONE MILE then turn North (right) on County Road 75.  We are 5 miles North on the right just after you cross the Non-Flooding, slow moving Headwaters of the Mississippi River.  Look for Oak Haven Resort signs that stand alone.

Whether you arrive by private or commerical airline... we are just 25 minutes from either the Bemidji Airport or the Walker Municipal Airport.  If you choose to fly into our area we will be glad to provide transportation to and from Oak Haven Resort.  Just let us know when you make your vacation reservations!
