CABIN # 11 DURING WINTER RIGHT NOW.....Cabin #11 is available NOW until February 15th. Then Cabin #11 is booked every night from February 16 until April 13th. Big Cabin # 11 is available April 13 until May 12. Call now for a great deal. Now Accepting CAMPING RESERVATIONS for 2012.  Sites #0, #1 and #2 are available.  Each has water, sewer and electric. Site # 9 (water and electric) is also available.  Our three primitive tent sites, which all have a fire ring and a picnic table, are also available to reserve. Weather permitting, we open our campground around May 10th each year and close it down by October 1st.  A 3-night minimum reservation is needed on Holiday weekends.  All other dates require a 2-night minimum reservation.  Send an email directly to Mike:   mike@bemidjiresort.com

1.  From May 26 to August 18...we accept Saturday to Saturday weekly cabin reservations.  
2.  From May 12 to May 26....and from August 18 to October 6...we are accepting most 3+ night reservations.
3.  KIDS Events, including Monday Night Hot Dogs 'n Smores, Tuesday Night Turtle Races and the Wednesday Morning Pontoon Fishing Trip...take place from May 26 until September 1. Kids events are for guests staying one week or more. 
4.  Our Heated Outdoor Swimming Pool will be open from May 26 until September 4.
5.  Our Heated Indoor Swimming Pool will be open from May 26 until September 18.
6.  Our Restaurant (serving our registered guests only) will be open from May 12 until mid September. Hours vary. 

7.  WALLEYES are landed all year long. It helps to know where and how to fish for Walleyes. (Guides available....ask Mike about Guide Service.)
8.  PIKE and MUSKIE are landed all year long.
9.  CRAPPIE fishing is usually best in the spring and early to mid summer, then again in the late fall. Crappies are caught all year long.
10.  LARGEMOUTH BASS & BLUEGILL fishing improves with warm water...in the summer. Lot's of lily pads in this area!
11.  PERCH are landed all year long. Kids can catch 50 Perch a day or more!! 
12.  ROCK BASS are landed in the spring, summer and fall. 

When coming from the South, from the St. Cloud area, we suggest taking Hwy. #10 to Motley and taking Highways #64 to #34 headed North, then #371 North to Hwy #2....go West on Hwy #2 for one mile and turn North on County Road #75. We're six miles ahead on your right. Muskie, Pike, Walleye, Bass, Crappie, Bluegills, Perch. Catch 'em from our docks! We offer a clean place, friendly, courteous people, children laughing, parents smiling, turtle races, a kids only pontoon fishing trip, two heated swimming pools, Bud and Bud Light seved in frozen glass mugs, a small nice restaurant, great ice cream, root beer floats that get free refills of root beer....and a hundred more great things!

Oak Haven Resort's eleven cabins are fully equipped with silverware, dinnerware and cookware. Beds are made up with fresh sheets, blankets and pillows with pillow cases.  You need to bring your own bath towels, hand towels and washcloths. You should also bring foil, cling wrap and paper towels.

WEEKLY CABIN RENTERS:

Check In:   Saturday's Between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM  

Check Out:   Following Saturday by 9:00 AM

WEEKLY CABIN RENTERS....PLEASE...don't arrive before 4:00 PM on Saturday's as we are busy with chores, especially June, July and August. In May and September, it's possible you can arrive early....but only if you call in advance for permission. Summer guests who arrive on Saturday's before 4:00 PM will likely find the Lodge door locked.

DUE TO BEETLE MIGRATION CONTROL, NO FIREWOOD MAY BE BROUGHT INTO THIS RESORT.  FIREWOOD WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE ON SITE.  ORDER FIREWOOD AT THE LODGE BY 6:00 PM FOR SAME DAY DELIVERY.

DAILY RATE AND MINIMUM STAY

• Daily rate is 1/5 of the weekly rate. (Must stay at least 3 nights for this rate) 
• Memorial Day thru Labor Day we rent Cabins from Saturday at 4PM to Saturday at 9AM, 7 night minimum. 3 night minimum all other times.
• Some exceptions may be made.

DEPOSITS

*  We require a deposit of 50% of your projected invoice total.

A deposit amount of 50% of your projected invoice total is required when you make your reservation...payable by Visa or Master Card. Refund with 90 day advance notice of cancellation only if your cabin is re-rented, less a $50 service charge per deposit.  Less than a 90 day notice on cancellations - no refunds.

PAYMENT OF BALANCE

Customer's are asked to pay remainder of invoice upon arrival.
For this 2nd payment, we will accept Cash, Check, Visa or Master Card.
No refunds on early departures.

GUESTS

Additional over-night guests are $125.00 per week or $25.00 per night, per person. Some exceptions are made. If you have several kids, call us.  We'll give you a good price. Got a big group?  Discounts are available if you call.  Guests not staying the night (Day Guests) must pay $6.00 per person, which is good until 10PM.  ALL GUESTS MUST REGISTER AT THE LODGE IN WRITING UPON ARRIVAL.  (Required by State of Minnesota)

OUR FIRST POLICY IS THAT YOU HAVE FUN! 

Our second policy is that you behave yourself while you have fun.  Have you EVER vacationed somewhere where you knew in advance that your neighbors would be nice all day and quiet all night? 

At Oak Haven - All Guests are asked not to use profanity.  This is our year round home.  We enjoy providing a wonderful place for kids.  Thank You for your help with this.

Enjoy the crackling of the firewood around your late night campfire and the content of your conversation with your Family....NOT cussing from a group who doesn't care about you or your kids. This is ONE of the many things that make Oak Haven different from the rest.  There is a place where people can go to cuss and scream and holler all night....it's just not here.  

Customers are responsible for their damage, their kids damage and their visitors damage. We ask that you leave cabin, boat & grounds in a state of cleanliness. Please respect our property the way we would respect yours.

Oak Haven Resort is a "No Littering" Resort.  Smokers outposts are provided at every cabin, the outdoor pool, the waterside pavilion, the fish cleaning house and more.  Thank You for not littering while you stay at Oak Haven. "Litter" includes cigarette butts, candy wrappers, ice cream cone wrappers, bubble gum and other chewing gum, etc.  We truly thank everyone for their efforts to help keep Oak Haven litter free.

Enjoy a late night campfire, while at the same time, allow those to sleep who wish to go fishing early in the morning. Quiet Time here is from 9PM to 9AM. Please be respectful of others when you stay at Oak Haven. We want our guests to hear the breeze in the trees and the call of the Loon when they lay down to sleep. Again, we thank all of you for your efforts with this. We think you will enjoy the quiet nights while you see people still awake and outdoors and having a good time.

We do not allow fireworks. Thank You.

Fire Rings are for burning wood only.  Please do not leave glass, cans, foil, bottle caps, etc. from your fire pit after you leave.  It is unlawful to burn plastic.

After submitting full payment at checkin, you may be allowed to charge some items to your cabin during your stay, such as bait, boat gas and ice cream.  We ask that you settle your final bill by 6:00 PM the night before your departure. If you rent a boat from us, that boat must be docked by 7PM the night prior to departure. Gas is added to invoice, which is payable by 7:30 PM.

All of our rental fishing boats include a Mercury Outboard motor with electric start (no pulling ropes), a graph, electric MinnKota trolling motor, life jackets, landing net, a live well (no stringers over the side to lose), an electric bilge pump and a flat floor (no scooping water out of the boat when it rains), quality dock ropes and a rubber coated anchor designed to hold in these areas, that has a 50 foot braided "easy on the hands" rope.  One flat price for a fully equipped fishing boat. No punitive extra charges. Our boats are more better equipped than most rental boats in this area. All rentals subject to Minnesota Sales Tax and are American Funds.

Please Note: Pontoon is not available until 1:00 pm on Wednesday's (Memorial Day to Labor Day) due to "Kids Only" pontoon fishing trip. This 4-stroke motor uses very little fuel.  Rental includes life jackets and a fish landing net.  Pontoon renters are asked to be finished with the pontoon and have it docked by 7:00 PM the final evening you rent it....so fuel usage can be determined and your final invoice can be settled by 8:00PM.

BRINGING YOUR OWN BOAT?  NO PROBLEM!

*  WEEKLY CABIN GUESTS may launch and dock their boat at no extra charge. If you need to plug in your boat at night, there's no charge.  Bring your own 100 foot cord. You'll like our permanent docks! 

*  Campers staying less than seven days shall pay a $10 launch fee and $6 per boat per day to dock or trailer their boat at Oak Haven Resort.  Year Round Campers can launch and dock one boat at no charge any time during the 5 month summer season. Year Round Campers are asked to trailer their boats when they are not staying here.

Our Boat Launch, Docks and Beach are for Our Registered Guests Only.  People not staying with us are advised there is a charge to use our docks, our beach and for vehicles to pick up canoes and kayaks here.  You must call us in advance and tell us of your plans.  Because our paying guests may be using our beach, water crafts should not show up at our beach assuming usage is OK.  Prevent an embarrasing situation by calling us in advance.

 

PADDLE BOATS & CANOES

Canoes and Paddle Boats are available for our Registered Guests to use at no charge.  It's OK to use them for fishing! Customers are asked to launch them, keep them free of water, litter, etc...then properly beach them (turned over in case of rain) when finished with each use.  Please limit your time to 2 hours per use so everyone can enjoy them. 

When using our canoes or paddle boats, we require that ALL PERSONS wear a life jacket.  You can borrow life jacket(s) at no charge. If you don't want to wear a life jacket, you may not use our canoes or paddle boats. This goes for adults too.

 

Your rental includes the use of all facilities including showers, laundry, outdoor & indoor pool, canoes, paddle boats, bait house, fish cleaning facilities, games and game courts and more...subject to all house rules.

It is the responsibility of the person renting the site to ensure that all rules are followed by everyone in their site. Oak Haven Resort is a No Fireworks resort. 

All Rates Based on 2 Persons & 1 Unit per Site and are PER DAY Rates.....

• Water, Electric & Sewer (Sites 1-8) - $45.00 per day  -  $225 per week 
• Water & Electric (Site 9) - $40.00 per day  ($175 per week)
• Primitive Site (Site 10-12) - $33.00 per day
• Air Conditioner (if used) - $3.00 per unit per day  (Included with Seasonal Rate)
• Boat Launch - $10.00  (Boat Launch Free with Weekly Cabin Rental and/or Seasonal RV)
• Docking or Parking Boat- $6.00 per boat per day  (Free with Seasonal RV)
• Extra Unit on Site - $8.00 per unit
• Extra Persons - $10.00 per person (for those who spend the night-less for Seasonal RV'ers Guests) 
• Day Guests - $6.00 per person (for those who depart by 10 PM - less for Seasonal RV'ers Guests)
• All guests must register at the lodge upon arrival.  (Guests and their Visitors) 
• Accurate number of guests is required at checkin.
  All rates are subject to Minnesota Sales Tax and are in American Funds.
  Campground Check In: 4:00 PM - Check Out: 12:00 NOON
  No Early arrivals or late check outs allowed without prior approval. This is due to time required to properly maintain the grounds. Campers are required to pay for the entire term of their reservation. No refunds for early departures.

Campground - RV Sites and Tent Sites - 50% of Invoice Required at time of reservation, payable by Visa or Master Card. "No Shows" will be charged the full amount of invoice. Campers are required to pay for entire term of their reservation.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES

Your invoice is due in full when you arrive.  All persons in your group must register at the lodge upon arrival.  (Required by the State of Minnesota) People here who are not registered are trespassing.

After submitting full payment at check-in, weekly guests may then charge some items to their site during the week.  We ask that you please settle your final bill by 6:00 PM the night before departure.  Some services are not available on Saturday's until 4:00 PM due to week-to-week cabin change-over period.
